The Hellenic Initiative Supports Greek Startups

The Hellenic Initiative is again a proud sponsor of the International Accelerator booth at SXSW® Interactive on March 13-17 in Austin, TX. Last year, in partnership with Libra Group, THI sponsored 16 companies, the first time a group of Greek companies participated in the SXSW® Interactive. Three companies in attendance received more than $6 million in funding!

This year thirty-one people representing twenty-two promising Greek startups will have the opportunity to demonstrate their products and services on an international stage. They will be representing the largest group of Greek startups to ever participate in an international startup event.

THI would like to thank its generous donors for making it possible to fund a portion of the International Accelerator booth and purchase SXSW® badges for the thirty-one entrepreneurs representing each of the Greek startups. Additionally, THI would like to thank their co-sponsors: AngelouEconomics, Pflugerville CDC, International Accelerator and the local Austin Chapter of AHEPA for their partnership to help make all of this possible.
